I'm sure by just the band name and album title you have a damned good idea what you're getting here. Slammity slam slam, reety-reet-pete and a chugga-ma-lugg. This MCD is comprised of remastered tracks from their 2009 EP with the addition of a new intro and two new tracks (the first two). Musically the new tracks are an improvement over the older ones, giving the band a better direction and more standout feel. I haven't heard the initial EP so I can't comment on the effect the remastering has from the originals - but on certain songs, the non guttural vocals sound so far back in the mix they can go unnoticed. Musically there are plenty of slam standards and a good rhythmic chug and riffs - but not enough to really grip my attention. The two new tracks are the real stand-outs here, giving the sound new life and bounce. The tempo changes go from a grueling bone crushing onslaught to rapid fire punches with oddly good riffs for a slam-outfit. Certainly a quick lil ditty to check out.
Overall this an enjoyable, albeit if just for the two new tracks, venture into the world of br00tally crushing deaf metaulz.- Quality: v0
