Tech Death about Space ... Nuff said, right?
Is it just me or does every 'tech' band seem to orient around two subjects: Sodomizing dead womens bodies, or the recent TLC/History Channel special they saw. Also, why are there no metal projects about sodomizing dead guy bodies? Huh? What about a song about bug-chasing? These comments are gonna be great.
Anyway. Plenty of bands to find similarities to with Nebulous, in aspect of general style or vocals. 'Speed' wise Nebulous doesn't go for the blistering onslaught of other tech bands and doesn't give off to much wank - which can appeal to those new or looking for a band who displays their talents differently. While an EP with just 4 tracks, this initial release* from this Alabama, US based band gives good expectations of things to come. Yeah, short review. Suck it.
* I'm pretty sure this is their first release, wasn't able to track down much info on them.

good job finding these 'bama kids. But good god man, the link suggests a .7z file and then when you go about trying to download the shit, you get some bullshit download manager. Just do a .zip or .rar please?

Ha! I saw a couple docs about bug-chasing - one entitled, Bug Chaser, and the other, I think it was, I Love Being HIV. Fucked up world we live in. Beware the Biohazard symbol. Beeewwaaaaare!!
ReplyDeleteThis is our first legitimate release, yes. We do have a full length coming out this year so keep an eye out for information on it. I've been using this site for years and it's pretty cool to see it get posted here.
ReplyDeleteWill you do a song on bug chasing in a future release?
