The name really speaks for itself. I can't tell you much about the band since I never listened to them earlier. However, this album blew me away completely. In fact, I now have their entire discography and I'm going through it with a sick and twisted grin on my face.
Now, since I'm more delighted than competent to discuss their music at the moment, I'm gonna quote a friend: "They're always changing, but dissonance and fucked-up melodies were always present. They were always miles in front of everybody else, breaking the barrier of that simple black metal aesthetics."
Enjoy.

ReplyDeleteThe definition of what black metal should be. They are France's strongest black metal act, and one of the best in the world scene.
ReplyDeleteDon't know about this album yet but I can't wait to listen to it. "The Work" was a landscape of dust and cold magma, "The mystical beast of rebellion" a conceptual negation of music, "memoria Vetustaa 2" a beautiful blend of crepuscular shades. Not mentioning the magical first one =)
Twisted, black, insane and hopeless, I love'em =)
oh thanks a lot by the way !!!
ReplyDeleteThis isn't their best work but this release is simply awesome - like all the records of Blut Aus Nord. But I love, and will always love their "Work Which Transform God".
ReplyDeleteFucking love Blut aus Nord, Memoria Vetusta II is my personal favorite
ReplyDeleteI've listened to it closely and it's another convincing monument of madness. But I expected something... a bit different.
ReplyDeleteDemented riffs as always, I just miss the colors of Memoria Vetustaa 2.
thank u dude for Blut, Argentina.
